Roof Cleaning and Pressure Washing

We also inspect roofs for any signs of damage requiring further repair and attention to avoid future costs and deterioration.

We offer roof cleaning in Norfolk and Suffolk. We use Pressure Washers, Jet Washers or simple hard brushes to clean roofs. We will assess the type of tile, condition of tile and roofing felt and desired result you require in-order to provide the best method for cleaning your roof tiles. Once tiles are cleaned with a good pressure wash there is no need to add a fungal prohibitor, they just don't work and are often an add on that some companies will charge you a fortune to have applied. If the clean has been done properly in the first instance this will last just as long before moss and debris start to build up again. Please DON'T be talked into applying these post clean sprays that just aren't required.

If we are cleaning concrete tiles we like to apply a post clean water proofer as these tiles can become more porous after being pressure washed. The cost for this is normally nominal.

We like to use our cherry picker to access high or steep pitched roofs and avoid tiles being stood on and so to prevent further damage. This method also ensures that we can pressure wash or jet wash from the top of the tiles down which helps to reduce the likelihood of any leaks. We are able to check the condition of felt for customer before a clean is performed but ultimately the customer is responsible to ensure the felt is in good condition.

As part of our roof cleaning service we will perform a full inspection of the roof, the tiles, the eaves, the ridges, the fascia's and the guttering and report any findings that could potentially cause problems in the future and cost you more money. This is an area that you can't ever get access to yourself and only tend to find something is wrong when it is too late.

Severe Vegetation

Poor Condition Felt

If felt is in a poor condition we are able to brush down tiles to remove the moss if pressure washing is not advisable.

Inspecting for damage

During the clean we will inspect tiles for damage and repair or replace where necessary, often at no extra cost. We will inspect all areas of the roof and report any findings.
